How to connect your Projector to a laptop?
If you have never connected your laptop to a projector before then it is good practise to test this arrangement before our rental projector arrives and certainly before you are standing in front of your audience
Every Laptop is different so unless you have taken one of our laptops on hire along with our projector then we cannot provide specific instructions but just general guideline.
Many laptops will auto detect a projector is connected when laptop is switched. So prior to starting your laptop, connect and power up the projector, then start your laptop. Connection may be as straightforward as this
If this does not work then there is normally a function key that selects what display options you have. This function normally toggles between -
Display on laptop screen only
Display on both laptop screen and external source ie projector
Display on projector only
Press again and you are back to laptop only display
