News - 2008 March Plotting the Future! One of Rent IT's area of expertise has always been the rental hire and leasing of wide format plotters for long and short term rentals. This month however has seen a boom in demand for these printers with Rent IT adding three HP500 42" wide format plotters to our rental pool in just one month. Over the past few years we have seen demand for plotters increasing and our plotter purchasing has been steadily increasing to cover not just planned equipment rotation but also this gradually increasing market. However March now sees us greatly increasing our stock of these HP 500 42" plotters to meet growing client demand. Often used for project work, wide format printer rental makes considerable economic sense where costs and time restrictions apply. In an environment of ever toughening cost control the rental option allows planners to accurately predict and budget for there overall projects costs removing yet another variable from there plans. The HP 500 42" Plotter is a flexible product that offers many of the benefits of the A0, HP1050C - the established plotter in the CAD market. In many applications (but not all!) the HP 500 is a more cost effective solution when compared to the HP1050C. Ever increasing credit restrictions are also biting with many clients now considering wide format printer rental where they previously may have purchased a plotter. Of course not all clients need plotting facilities this wide and to meet the printing requirements of smaller (physically!) offices we can also offer the HP500 A1 plotter. All the performance and facilities of the HP 500 42" but in a the smaller A1 (24") format.
