News - 2007 September Rent IT at Offshore Europe Exhibition 2007 A considerable Rent IT presence was once again evident at the Offshore Europe Exhibition in Aberdeen at the AECC (Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre) early this month. As a local show and very relevant to one of our main markets both for Rent IT, Seatronics & Acteon Group we once again provided a range of machines for use at the Offshore Europe 2007 exhibition. As well as sponsoring the two internet café Rent IT also provided machines for- Exhibition organisers VIP lounge Press Office With most of these machines linked directly to our rent IT web site we are able to track exactly how many additional hits we achieved over this period. The results were impressive with about a 300% increase in page views over the 4 days of the exhibition. Based in Aberdeen we are ideally placed to support, not just the Offshore Europe exhibition, but any exhibition or presentation being held in the Aberdeen area. We can provide a range of IT equipment, whether PC or Apple Mac, Laptops, displays and projectors. As we are primarily an IT supplier we do not tend to have large displays such as 42" Plasmas, PA systems, and high power projectors, but can put you in contact with local AV companies whom we work with and who can provide this service. Of course our services are not just limited to exhibitions in Aberdeen. Our products and services can be supplied throughout the country and whilst we cannot provide an on site installation and removal service renting exhibition equipment from Rent IT can often be far more cost effective than employing the services of the local "in house" exhibition provider who in many cases has a monopoly at the exhibition and charges accordingly! One option is to have Rent IT organise delivery to your hotel prior to your exhibition and collection afterwards from your hotel. This approach is often ideal for smaller portable items. At some exhibitions we can deliver direct to the venues goods in and collect afterwards but this can often depend on the exhibition organisers and the exhibition venues policies. Whatever option, even if you require a couple of days extra rental before/after the exhibition, Rent IT can be a far more cost effective solution than making use of the services available at the exhibition itself.
