This month we have seen a major changes for both Seatronics and Rent IT. In early July the Seatronics Group (Including our offices in USA, Middle and Far East) along with the IMS division of the Craig Group was sold to the Norwich based Acteon Group. |

In terms of potential expansion for both Seatronics and Rent IT this is a very positive move with the Acteon Group consisting of a number of companies firmly established within the Offshore and Subsea industries. Many of these companies will have direct requirements for the products and skills within the Seatronics Group and the potential for joint projects with the other Acteon Group companies is considerable. |

Whilst the major beneficiary of this move is the Survey and Offshore side of Seatronics this move offers expanded scope for the Rent IT division as well. With the range of companies Acteon has operating within the Offshore environment there is considerable opportunity to supply specialised IT solutions for this demanding market. |

Rent IT has already established itself as a supplier of IT systems for the Offshore Environment ( both rental and sales ) with ongoing arrangements with a number of Offshore service providers in the Aberdeen area. These same custom designed products will no doubt have applications within our new sister companies in the Acteon Group. |
