News - 2007 May Rent IT Financial results - Well above target With Seatronics/Rent IT having our financial year ending in April we have now got final results for our performance throughout the 2006/2007 period. Rent IT is delighted to report that overall turnover has been almost 35% above budgeted targets. Whilst the whole Seatronics group has seen increased levels of activity in every area this increase within Rent IT is certainly something to celebrate. Part of reason for this came from a very strong last couple of months to the financial year. This was due to an unexpected increase in the number of custom built computer solutions Rent IT is now manufacturing for sale. Business in this area has increased considerably from the end of 2006 with Rent IT now designing and building custom computer solutions for a number of clients within the Aberdeen area. These product sales are not only adding to our turnover but are further confirmation of Rent IT's ability to design and build "high end" computer systems for the Offshore Oil & Gas market. This trend has continued into our new financial year with a large number of computer system sales continuing into May promising a good start to the 2007/2008 financial year. Rent IT Manager, Hamish Forbes, commented- "This is a very encouraging result for a relatively new division within the Seatronics Group. Our growing experience in targeting our marketing throughout 2006/07 and the unexpected increase in Computer sales has resulted in this exceptional performance. The only negative to this is that we have now set ourselves a considerable challenge for the next financial year!" Hamish went on to add that this success is very much down to the Rent IT team who have worked tirelessly over the past few years to launch and establish our division.
