News - 2007 October Latest High Performance NEC Versa Laptops now for Rental Rent IT have this month added a batch of the latest NEC Versa P570 laptops to our rental pool. Over the years we have been impressed with the NEC range of products and there ability to handle the demanding environments of the rental market. Our original NEC Versa M300 & 320 models were then joined by the NEC i-Select range and now the latest NEC Versa P570. This new Versa P570 boasts the latest in Dual Core technology with a 2.0GHz Dual Core T7300 processor. In order to take maximum benefit from this level of performance Rent IT has fitted a massive 2Gb of RAM. This coupled to a dedicated 128Mb nVidea Geforce 8400M video card allows a high level of graphics performance especially when viewed on the high resolution, 1680 x 1050 Screen. Of course other features are also included to keep up with the latest trends and these include not only wireless technology but also Bluetooth communications and a card reader. More standard items such as DVD Writer, 10/100 wired communications and a large 120Gb HDD make up the comprehensive Versa P570 package. Of course none of this is much good if our rental laptop is not compatible with your software requirements. To ensure our NEC Versa will work with (hopefully!) anything that is thrown at it we have opted for installation of Windows XP Pro. Whilst Microsoft may be pushing Vista Business as the preferred option we have yet to see the demand from our clients so have decided to ""play safe".
