Our existing dual xeon processor system did not quite meet the requirements so our base for this system was upgraded to dual xeon 3.0GHz processors. With 2Gb of memory added and a SATA 250Gb hard drive these systems can certainly perform. However in order to meet the demands of CAD work a Quadro FX3400 video card was added. This CAD approved board adds the final icing on the cake of what is an extremely impressive dual xeon CAD Computer. Combined with a 19" flat screen monitor these systems make impressive CAD dual xeonb workstations. Of course you do not need to go to the expense of the Quadro FX3400 video card and these dual xeon 3.0GHz machines are available for rental with a standard video card (still a 128Mb video card to give acceptable performance) and compliment our existing rental dual xeon 2.8GHz systems should a little bit more performance be required. As well as use in CAD work these dual xeon machines are excellent for a wide range of demanding tasks such as graphic design, video animation or offshore survey work.
