The Quantum ATL ValueLoader users LTO tapes and can carry up to 8 of these to give a very high capacity data back up system. Linked via SCSI interface to your computer system ensures high speed data transfer. These products are ideal where your system back up capacity has grown beyond the abilities of a single tape system. Use of autoloaders can improve and automate existing company back up facilities by combining all back ups into a single drive instead of individual departmental back up arrangements. |
Conversely of course this Auto Loader system can be used where there is a wish to have a stand alone back up system. This may be to meet temporary requirement and projects or to meet specific security requirements. |
