Particularly popular for the training market laptops are easy to transport and are up and running with the minimum of effort. With an existing extensive range of NEC laptops already available and having an excellent track record in terms of reliability and performance Rent IT had no hesitation in once again choosing NEC as supplier for further purchases. Model choice was based very much on customer requirements with considerations of technical features, performance and cost being balanced to ensure that we can supply a competitive product for the training course market. End choice came down to the excellent M320 Versa laptops from NEC featuring P4 2.0GHz processors and 512Mb RAM as well as a range of other features. These are compatible with our existing M300 versions both technically and in terms of aesthetics allowing us to now meet demands for large training course with matching systems. Nigel Barringer, IT Manager commented: "The trend towards smaller and lighter laptops often means that laptops now need numerous external drive and interfaces in order to cover the range of applications our clients have.
