Delivery for computer rental In most cases Rent IT can undertake overnight deliveries of computer systems and peripherals to virtually all parts of Mainland UK ( please contact us for costs and schedules for deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and other offshore locations ). Our standard delivery is next day however where there is an urgent requirement pre noon, pre 10.30am, pre 9.00am and Saturday deliveries can be provided at additional cost. If this extra service is required please check with our sales staff first to ensure this is available for your location. Standard next day delivery can be delivered anytime up to 5pm. Pre 9am delivery can be anytime from 7.30am to 9am. Charges for deliveries are based on consignment weight. Packed weights of items are shown on our specification sheets but these do not take into account situations where a number of items are packed in a larger box or transit case. If you require clarification on this please talk to our sales staff who will be pleased to confirm accurate freight costs for your particular consignment. If you require us to collect PC systems and IT equipment at end of rental period we can arrange this as well. Charges are normally the same as costs for delivery. An exception to this is our local Aberdeen area. In Aberdeen we can often provide a same day service and deliveries/collections are offered free of charge. The map below shows the extent of our free collection & delivery area. If same day delivery is required in other areas we can arrange "hot shot" couriers or transportation by plane to your nearest airport. Costs for this service is considerable but it can be arranged, again contact our sales staff to discuss your options. Of course you are always welcome to arrange your own transportation and we are pleased to have equipment made available for your collection. When arranging equipment deliveries please ensure you provide:- Delivery name & address Contact name Contact telephone number Stand number (for exhibition deliveries) Any other information e.g. any specific delivery times etc If you require us to collect equipment at end of rental period please ensure you provide:- Collection name and address Contact name (very important especially where collecting from exhibitions, hotels etc) Contact telephone number Timing for collections (Couriers cannot normally provide precise timing for pick ups) Please be aware that if we cannot collect equipment when scheduled equipment hire rates will continue and if goods are not eventually returned you will be charged for full replacement value. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and other offshore locations please contact Rent IT sales staff for schedules and costs. Aberdeen Area Delivery and collection of rental equipment is free within the Aberdeen area indicated above, from 9:30am to 17:00pm , Monday to Friday. For delivery outwith our normal working hours, or for a timed delivery, a charge of £20 will apply.
